Case study: Employee-first approach delivers results.

It wasn’t even four weeks ago that this customer launched worqdrive and here we are sitting on enough data to produce a case study for the market. Never in my 20+ year career did I ever expect to be able to produce a case study for the customer, or the market, in such a short period of time. But here we are.

I know our time is all scant. So, I will get to the good stuff right out of the gate.

Where they were pre-launch

This customer, a billion-dollar government contractor, was experiencing high turnover, and limited employee engagement. They found that their employees were 5x less likely to convert on their internal job board and 50% less likely to click apply. They had limited to no insights into the skills they had as a growing organization. They are branding themselves as people focused, so they decided to invest in their people and empower their employees by launching worqdrive.

Where they are now

In the (less than) four weeks since launching:

  • Current employees are now their #1 source of hire

  • Current employees as a source of hire has increased 50% from the same time period preceding launch

  • In the first 6 hours of launch, employees applied to 40 jobs

  • Employees have added more than 700 skills to their profiles and have identified more than 200 skills they wish to grow.

  • For the first time, the customer can now see where they have skill gaps

And it hasn’t even been four weeks!

Because we have a system that was designed for the employee first, people are using it. Because we made it easy to use, people are engaging. Because we knew that without people using and engaging the system, we cannot get the mobility and insights we need to grow our talent and our company. People first gives business the results. This is the first piece of hard evidence in what we believe will be a long story of the power of empowering your people to drive their career. The power to make it easy for people to stay.
